These days the process of getting a life insurance estimate is faster and easier than ever before. You can get online life insurance quotes that give you an idea of how much coverage will cost. The main types of policies are term, whole life, variable and universal. While term covers for only a certain period, whole life lasts a lifetime. Variable and universal can be term or lifelong and include investments of cash above the amount of your premium. Your investment returns are either applied to your premium or held in an account to accumulate.
